The 3M™ Half Facepiece Disposable Respirator Assembly, Organic Vapour/Acid Gases Respiratory Protection 5000 Series helps provide protection against certain airborne contaminants. This respirator is NIOSH approved for respiratory protection against certain organic vapours, chlorine, hydrogen chloride, sulfur dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, or hydrogen fluoride at up to ten times the permissible exposure limit (PEL).

The permanently attached cartridge installed in this respirator assembly has been assigned the NIOSH colour code of “Yellow.” This respiratory protection system is not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH).
